Greetings to you all.
I am new to this forum and it seems as if there is much love here for each other reading a few posts. I was wondering how certain scriptures are explained by the believers on this forum. Two that I am very interested in because I was given prophecy concerning the catching away. In it we are told that we much be able to hear the voice of our Shepherd to be able to go with him. The scriptures backing this up is Mark 16 17-20: stated what signs will follow the believer and 1st John 4 1-3 that states how we are to "try" the spirits to see if they are from God.

The prophecies can be read in part on http://www.delphi.com/Rapture1 and in full on http://www.InHisKingdom.net .

Exactly! Love is all around! Rejoice in your ways, whoever you may be! Always with God at your side, you have no reason to be sad! 100% love, all the time! The most simple things stare at us in the face all the time, and nobody remembers what 100% love is! We already know everything.
Learning is remembering what you already know.

Well, if there is love, perhaps it is because there has been no dissention until now. They all agree so everyone is happy. Let someone disagree and see what happens. I will likely adopt that role.
As for testing the spirits, how do we do that? Is it not by comparing what is said to the Bible? the bible should always be the guide and test of various spirits. Knowlege of the Bible is knowledge of our LORD. Can one claim to know God or love God without knowing what He said? As you can tell, I am big on the Bible. to me, you can recognize a Christian by their profound respect for and knowledge of the bible. Hope that helps.

Hi friend.
Thanks for replying.

I posted the message because I was getting so much disagreements on other forums and I was wondering what this one was like, it seemed there were no arguments on the posts that I read.

The scriptures clearly state that prophecy is in Gods word and that supernatural signs are in his word. We can all be happy by agreeing but we may not be agreeing on the truth. Is it more important to hear the truth and study his word to see why it is different or to agree on everything even though it is wrong?

As for testing the spirits. As you read in 1st John 4 1-3: Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of anti-christ, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

As you see it is talking about spirits confessing, this has to be done in the supernatural. This is in the spirit world that we must go in to find the truth. This is what happened at Penticost, the promise of the Father, the baptism of the Holy Spirit was sent to earth. This is for all of us as is stated in Acts 2 38-39. This is from the Holy Spirit of our Lord Jesus. This is what prophecy is, when we hear the voice of our Shepherd (which is scripture) and speak it out, this is prophecy (this is scripture). Everyone can say in the natural that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh, what would that prove, how can we test the spirits like this?

You say to check it with the Bible, that is good for some scriptures that make it simple as if you would have someone say that God wants you to kill someone, you know instantly that that is not from our Lord. Now if Jesus said that believers will have the signs of speaking in tongues, laying hands on the sick for recovery and casting out demons and most of the ones that call themselves Christians that I know do not do this, something has to be wrong and I do not believe that Jesus is wrong, especially since I have experienced these signs myself. If the scriptures are simple to understand, why are there thousands of churches with different beliefs and they all believe that they have the truth?

Love you brother.

We all have to be willing to listen and
learn as well as teach. All of us know
something to teach and we all have things
to learn. No one person knows it all.
We know only as the Holy Spirit reveals
to us as we study the Word. So, everyone
isn't going to be at the same place all
of the time. That is not understood on
some forums. We have newborns with toddlers,
with adolescents, with adults and with those
elderly Christians who have lived thru the
whole shabang of life. We need to understand
that. The worst is having the Spirit baptized
with new borns who don't even know what
it is! oh lol lol Boy, that brings on trouble
with a capital T.
I haven't been here much, but like you, does
seem a good forum. I was recently gagged
from a popular forum because I mentioned
the Trinity as being the Father, Son, and
Holy Spirit. oh lol lol I got such nasty
hate letters. lol lol lol

When the deeper things of God are studied,
shared,etc. there is generally trouble
on the horizon. Remember the newborns. :)
